River's Edge Antiques & Quilt Loft is located in Hayward, WI, which is a beautiful northwoods area in the upper northwest corner of WI. We opened in 2000 with the antiques and then started our quilt loft in 2003. We also have an on-line shop www.shopriversedge.com and hope that you enjoy shopping with us whether it is in person or on-line. We have the Namekagon River in our backyard and are only l.3 miles south of the heart of town on Hwy. 27 South. Hayward is known for all of it’s activities. We have miles of atv, bike and hiking trails in the summer, along with fishing and boating on the many lakes. In the winter there are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails as well as the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails.

We are a family-owned dual-business consisting of an upper-end antiques shop which focuses on stoneware, indian beadwork, furniture, glassware, cabin furnishings and accessories including taxidermy, fishing lures, wall mounts, and many other items to help you with your northwoods decorating scheme. Mike is always available to help you find just what you need. He also buys quality antiques from private parties. Give him a call if you have one piece or an entire estate you would like him to purchase.

The other half of our business is the Quilt Loft. Gail loves color as you will see with the wide selection of fabrics that is offered. There are over 4000 bolts of the latest top quality fabrics in cottons, homespuns and flannels. We have a very large assortment of books, patterns, batting, and notions. We are known for having a great selection of civil war reproductions, 30’s reproductions, batiks, children’s, babies, brights, flannels, hand dyed wools, minkee, as well as many other selections. We carry Moda, RJR, Benartex, Hoffman, Island Batiks, Northcott, Clothworks, In The Beginning, Baum, Chanteclaire, Henry Glass & Co. Windham and many more. We also have an assortment of wide backing fabrics.

Our shop hours are Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. We are closed for all major holidays.
