Quilting 101 - Starts January 7, Thursday, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Runs for 5 weeks. Get the basics including rotary cutting, fabric selection and colors, piecing basics, in addition to layering, simple stitch-in-the ditch quilting, binding and labeling. Class fee is $50, plus supplies.

Twister - January 13, Wednesday, from 1 p.m - 4 p.m. Learn how to make the Twister Block using the special template. We will make a small project during class, but I guarantee that once you make one you won't want to quit. The sky's the limit with this tool. Class fee $15.00, plus supplies.

Happy Holidays Topper - January 18, Monday, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Make this seasonal topper just in time for Valentines Day--once you make one, you'll want one for each of the holidays. They make a great gift. Pattern required, 60* triangle ruler is helpful, but not necessary. Class fee $15.00, plus supplies. Stop in the shop and see our samples.

Binding Made Easy - January 27, Wednesday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Learn how to make your binding, put it on your project and how to finish for a professional look. Class fee $15.00, plus supplies.



Block of the Month Clubs - You can still sign up - Space still available


Wool Applique BOM - Starts Nov. 18, Wednesday 1 p.m. Meets once a month on the 3rd Wednesday. Start up fee $5.00 - monthly fee is $9.95. Come and join us while we stitch up our monthly projects or if you are unable to come, we will mail it for a small fee. You can see a picture of the blocks on the website under Block of the Month. This is a cute project that you can make into a wall hanging when complete or break up the blocks into separate projects.


Civil War Tribute BOM - This Block of the Month starts on January 8, Friday at 1 p.m. We will meet monthly on the 1st Friday. Come and join us monthly for the each installment or have it shipped for a small fee. The start-up fee is $20, with a monthly fee of $26.00. The finished quilt is 100" x 112". This is a real beauty. You can see a picture on the website under Block of the Month.

Afternoon Tea BOM - This is our latest block of the month which will start on Feb. 11, 2010 at 1 p.m. You will need 18 fat quarters to make all 25-28 blocks for three optional settings. I will have fabric bundles available to purchase for the blocks to get you started which will vary in price depending on fabrics. There are 12 block patterns, each having to be made at least twice to complete your project. The block size is 8" finished. The optional settings will make three different size quilts, ZigZag - 91" x 95" with 28 blocks, On-Point - 86" x 86" with 25 blocks or Medallion - 88" x 88" with 25 blocks. If you live too far away to join us you may always have your monthly instructions sent to you. There is a signup fee of $20. The pattern price is $26.00 additional.
